Glass Flooring

Walk on glass is an excellent way of introducing natural light to dark or subterranean rooms, whilst maintaining that usable and costly floor space. Our walk on glass floors can be designed and installed to sit flush with the surrounding floor finishes providing a seamless transition from one to the other, internally or externally. With external walk on glass floors we can supply a number of finishes to prevent slipping due to water build up on the glass. This ranges from simple sandblasting through to a ceramic anti slip enamel which is painted and baked into the top surface of the glass. All glass floors are designed to be subjected to varying loads dependent on the building they are being installed in however, as a minimum, all of our walk on glass is supplied as three layers of 10mm laminated toughened safety glass.
